This is a traditional dish that is prepared in Spain. I have eaten it in restaurants but the best is always prepared by my host mother. Garbanzo beans and meat are cooked together in a stock and then eaten in three separate courses.
First course: the stock from cooking the meal is served with pasta in it.
Second course: the chickpeas from the mixture. This often times has a cooked cabbage put on top (delicious).
Pigpigpigpig. It can also be made with chicken but is traditionally made with pork in my region.
Third course: my personal plate.
Like every other lunch at home, I finished my meal with a cafe con leche.
