My sister’s bridal shower is this weekend so this is another week of papercrafting. These little flags will go on the cupcakes that we will be making.

They are rather simple to make. The paper I chose is actually from an old dictionary (my sister is a writer).

Materials: paper, glue, toothpicks, gems/sequins

1. Cut paper into strips: 1/2 in. by 3 1/2 in.
2. Fold the paper in half ensuring that the words on the outside are party appropriate.
3. Add a line of glue and put a toothpick in the fold.
4. Cut a small triangle out of the end and add a sequin or gem to the center of each side.
