Having friends with pets is great. I get to spend time with them (the pets that is), but I don’t have to care for them.
This is how I feel about children, too. Love ’em, just not quite ready for my own.
Agreed! I’m fortunate to have very young brothers to hang out with.
My family is the same – we basically steal cats by giving them infinite food when they visit at night so they stay with us, then they go back to their homes by day.
We aren’t that kind in my house. My roommate yells at the dog that barks outside our window at night.
Did Craigslist not specify not liking dogs?
Well, Craigslist didn’t tell me that there was a stray dog that would bark incessantly at least once a week when I was trying to go to sleep. I’m glad he yells at him, because the dog shuts up and I don’t have to sully my conscience with shouting at the creature.
In my esteemed opinion, one’s conscious is rather irrelevant when confronted with the need to sleep.
